E&A Unveils Another E-Gov Solution
Edmunds and Associates is pleased to announce its newest module, Employee Self Service (ESS). ESS is an add-on module, designed to work seamlessly with the Human Resources Module. With ESS, employees can go online and view information such as: sick/vacation time balances, contact information, and benefit information. They can even view or print copies of past check stubs, W-2s, or W-4s.
Perhaps the most amazing feature of ESS, is that it integrates live with MCSJ. So, employees can actually request time off through the web site. The employee would go online, select a day, select what type of time they want to request (sick,vacation, etc.), and this request is automatically pushed into MCSJ so that it can be approved or denied by the appointed HR representative. If approved, the requested day is automatically scheduled. If denied, the HR representative can type a reason for denial that the employee can see on the web site. Once the attendance batch is processed, the employee will be able to see the scheduled time off on the ESS website.
