MCSJ Animal Licensing will track all information related to the registration of any animal required to be licensed by a municipality.

Integration

All revenue entries are automatically posted to the general ledger and revenue modules to reduce duplicate entry.

Owner Maintenance

The owner maintenance screen stores two addresses per record, a physical and a mailing address. Two phone numbers may also be stored for each owner. The system allows for an unlimited number of animals to be attached to each owner.

Animal Maintenance

Each licensed animal is attached to an owner ID and a current license number. The animal record stores a name, type, birth date, breed, and physical characteristics of the animal such as hair, type, size, and sex. Tattoo and/or microchip numbers, spay and neuter information, and rabies vaccination information is stored in the system, as well. Previous biting, vicious animals, guide dogs, and deceased animals can also be tracked.

Licenses

All licenses store associated fees, owner and animal ID's, issue date, and previous license ID. Renewal notices and actual licenses can be generated directly from the system. There are no preprinted forms needed as they are generated on an 8.5" x 11" sheet of paper. One and three year licenses can be issued. Licenses can be voided, as well.

Reporting

Any report required by the state or county is generated by MCSJ Animal Licensing and electronically submitted if available. There are many other reports available such as breed, owner or license listing, and even street listings to help identify lost animals. Track all changes to a record with an inquiry such as a newly neutered dog or recently deceased pet. There is a custom report that can be done for any field in the system and all information can be taken into Excel.
