MCSJ Animal Licensing will track all information related to the registration of any animal required to be licensed by the municipality.

Integration -  All revenue entries can be posted automatically to the general ledger and revenue modules, to reduce duplicate system entries.

Owner Maintenance - The owner maintenance screen stores 2 addresses per record, a physical address and a separate mailing address.  Two phone numbers can also be stored for each owner. The system allows for an unlimited number of “animals” to be attached to an owner.

Animal Maintenance - Each licensed animal is attached to an owner ID and the current license number.  The animal’s record stores a name, type (dog, cat, etc..), birth date, breed and physical characteristics, such as hair type, size, and sex.  You can also store Tattoo or microchip numbers and whether the animal has been spayed or neutered, as well as rabies vaccination information.  The system can also track previous biting, vicious animals, guide dogs and deceased animals.

Licenses - All licenses will store associated fees, owner and animal IDs,   issued date and the previous license ID.  Renewal notices and actual licenses can be generated directly from MCSJ Animal Licensing and there are no pre-printed forms needed, all forms can be printed to blank 8.5 by 11 paper.

Reporting - Any reports required by a state or county will be generated by the animal licensing system and can be electronically submitted if available.  There are many reports available from the system, including breed, owner or license listings, and street listing (to help identify lost animals).  Track any changes to a record with the change transaction inquiry, such as a newly neutered dog or a deceased pet.  If none of the “canned” reports meet your needs take advantage of the ability to create your own report through Excel.
