Founded in 1972, Edmunds & Associates, Inc. started providing "in-house" software solutions exclusively to the public sector in 1984. Our corporate headquarters are located in Northfield, NJ which is just minutes from Atlantic City. E&A's solutions are developed, implemented, and supported by Edmunds' employees.
All MCSJ Software Solutions are written in the industry leading Java programming language by Edmunds & Associates. MCSJ is a true windows application with a graphical user interface. All applications are ODBC compliant and utilize a SQL database. This means that MCSJ can be used with third party products such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, most GIS packages, and more. All reports have the capability to be pulled for any date; therefore, there is no need to save printed reports.
Edmunds & Associates employs a large and knowledgeable support staff. When a customer calls for support, they always get a live receptionist. Our support staff consists of CPA's and finance officers, and all the staff is required to complete Rutgers University governmental accounting courses. Edmunds offers on-site training and support along with a toll-free phone line and internet support capabilities. Along with continuing education courses and user group conferences, Edmunds also has a content rich customer support website that includes FAQs, helpful hints, product documentation, training videos available for download, and more.
Currently, Edmunds is closing in on 600 clients located along the East Coast and is continuously growing. Our clients include municipalities, counties, utility authorities and school boards with annual operating budgets ranging from less than $1 million to over $1 billion.
